1. POSITION SUMMARY:
Primary function is to maintain/build sales in specified Region by managing and training sales personnel and by calling on distributors and pulling through business with Appliance Dealers, Kitchen Manufacturers, K&B Dealers, Designers, Architects and Builders.
Market Area will be CA, OR, WA, AK, HI, UT, CO, WY, ID, MT, NE, KS, ND, SD, Western Canada.

2. ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to: Vice President North America
Number of individuals that report directly and indirectly to this position:
 10-20
The following positions report into this position (titles):
 Distributors & Reps

3. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
• Managing & coaching sales personnel.
• Participate as part of the Sales, Marketing and Product Development team
• Identifying key opportunities and develop sales plan to accomplish sales and profit goals of the region/company.
• Evaluate markets, competitors and pricing activities and report to VP North America on a regular basis.
• Provide forecasts related to new and exciting product sales.
• Assure Distributors and Sales Reps are achieving product display and new dealer objectives.
• Assure distributors and sales reps are following and closing key jobs and builder targets.
• Evaluating performance/results of distributors and sales reps.
• Assuring Region meets sales/profit objectives.

50 % TIME

RESPONSIBILITY #2:
• With feedback from distributor, sales personnel plus dealer and designer contacts, evaluate key markets in relation to sales opportunities and competitors. Ability to develop sales strategies to assist company in growth of sales and profit goals.

RESPONSIBILITY #4:
• Administrative responsibilities as noted/but not limited to:
– Regular sales & marketing reports

– Assist with account receivable collection

4. OTHER RESPONSIBILITY AND DECISION-MAKING:
• RSD must be creative in his/her approach in solving problems and developing solutions.

5. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education College degree preferred. Spanish and Italian helpful but not required.
Experience At least 2 years in the appliance industry is preferred
Skills Excellent verbal/written skills as well as minimal computer skills in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
