Ran into this article this morning about Conn’s no longer selling Whirlpool. Anyone know the reason behind it? The little I know about Conn’s, they don’t take $#!+ from vendors and I would assume this was a decision by Conn’s to remove the line from their stores. But we know where assumptions get us. Anyone else know anything on this?

I was hoping to hear from someone with some facts as this is an interesting story. The fact that this happened in the week where Conn’s was doing a public stock offering is a little strange. Is that a move you would chose to make in those circumstances?

Tagout. I notice you said something about not taking s**tfrom a vendor. Vendors sell hotdogs , suppliers are a valuable asset for a good sales organization. It appears you are a hard a** no matter what. You my friend must be a piece of work

This Forum thread fell off the rails here on May 27, 2013, when Appliance Stallion added this last line to his/her comment.

Seems to have veered from the professional to the personal.
