Viking VP elected to Chairmanship of AHAM

Will Mr. Liston Durden, Senior VP of Marketing at Viking, be able to use his new position to push appliance measurement and marketing standards through AHAM and level the playing field? Shouldn't the AHAM logo be used like an SAE standard to indicate to dealers and consumers that AHAM members are competing with the standards and principles as defined by AHAM.
Dear Chairman Durden, if you lead us to a utopia of marketing and measurement standards, we will follow.
