Viking Commercial On the Air: Exclusive & CONFIRMED

Viking, having rumored to have been interested in acquiring Jade's Commercial business has chosen instead to build a commercial division from scratch in Orange County, CA, the center of commercial and pro-style cooking in the US. Greenwood, MS is nice and all, and in many ways a significant improvement over life in S.Cal, but glamour....not so much. Viking probably came to the same conclusion.
Viking is actively hiring Test, Cooking, and Design Engineers, R&D Technicians, and a National Sales Manager.
Why has Viking meandered to cabinets, and shirts, and umbrellas, and pots, and knives with wooden cutting boards, and a gaggle of private label small appliances, and for all we know Viking brand Massage and Tattoo Parlors, why all of that crap'age before this?
Wouldn't have this, Commercial Products, been the better path than all of that?
