An Appliance Sales Executive sent in a description of how UMRP (price fixing) is actually used and not used within the industry.

UMRP's critical flaw seems not to be illegality, so much as immorality. A system of regulations impossible to enforce, which rewards trespassers, and penalizes the law abiding. Where's Mike Wallace when you need him?
