Terminations with Extreme Prejudice

- Effective Feb 15, Zephyr rangehoods has canceled its northeast distributor, Eastern Marketing Corp. Zephyr's parent, Nortek will shift Zephyr to the Viking distributor Carl Shaedel as part of Nortek's strategy of aligning its "Zephyr" rangehood brand with all Viking distributors and "Best" rangehood brand with all Sub-Zero/Wolf Distributors. Eastern Marketing was Zephyr's largest distributor, representing 35% of Zephyr's North American sales.
- After 35 years of distributing Frigidaire brands Gibson, Tappan, O'Keefe & Merrit and Frigidaire in Northern California; Electrolux Home Products has notified Golden West Sales of its intent to terminate its distributor agreement effective February 14, 2008. Electrolux will sell direct in the territory.
