Sub-Zero Just Another Brand Now

On March 1, 2010, Sub-Zero will cross the threshold from Pull to Push marketing, effectively redefining the luxury appliance segment in general, and the Sub-Zero brand specifically, from "must have" down to "oh well, as long as it works".
Starting March 1 through September 30, Sub-Zero follows Thermador, by throwing cash and more cash (up to $2500) at the consumer in hopes they buy stuff, preferably more stuff than they wanted.
Sub-Zero Rebate Website
Does this belie the good news associated with Sub-Zero's recent rehires?

While looking at the Rebate page, notice the Energy Star logo?  Makes you think that all the refrigerators in the program are Energy Star qualified refrigerators.  But actually it's not even close.  So what are they suggesting by using the logo on a program which is not fully Energy Star?  Dunno.

We suggest that Sub-Zero use the Energy Star logo only on products or literature for products which are in fact Energy Star qualified.

This is Great!

I was holding off on my $50K kitchen remodel until I got a job, but wow, now with the $1,000 instant savings I'm for sure going SZ-Wolf! I guess the stove is Energy Star, huh?

It worked great for Thermador?

Bloom is off the rose.  They allowed them to go big box what next Home Depot?

Well, Ya Know What They Say ...

... it ain't what it is ... it's what ya call it !!!
