The Rumor Rotisserie

We got nothing but rumors, but the rumors are flying that Jade/Dynasty has been sold, but to whom, we do not know:

• Rumor 1:  Sold to Electrolux, building onto their commercial business, while replacing Dacor as the key supplier of Icon.

We like this rumor, it makes sense.

• Rumor 2:  Sold to Fisher / Paykel, to take on the commercial business and chuck the residential line over the side.

This makes no sense as DCS already had a commercial business that F&P had sold off to American Range.
What have you heard?

UPDATE:  November 17:  So far we have heard several unsupported rumors and comments, but they're all fun, so here they are:

• Electrolux is definitely not interested
• Samsung was bidding
• We also received a few rhetorical flourishes of "Who the hell would want it?"

So there you have it, the one thing we know for sure is that your investigative journalists at ApplianceAdvisor.com just plain suck.
