Almo Appliances

A Product Placement Mystery: SOLVED

Which brand of appliances made a signficant investment in product placement advertising on the CBS drama "The Good Wife", an episode of which included an exciting new pro-range design and used the appliances themselves as supporting cast members?

Actors used the appliances, opened the appliances, discussed the appliances, scenes were shot from inside appliances.  It was somewhat bizarre.  The pro-style range was highly unusual, with a cooktop that thrusts into the kitchen and includes knob controls on the TOP not the FRONT of the top.

As a side note.  We have no idea which brand this is.  Our only guess is that it is one of the Big 4 or 5 based on the inclusion of a multiple of appliance types, from cooking to ventilation, dishwasher, refrigeration, and laundry.  Our own check from the range in the websites of the usual suspects found nothing.  Our guess is that the range has not yet launched, but we should be able to identify the brand from the configuration of the washer and possibly the side by side.

For those bored enough to solve this mystery.  The episode can be seen on CBS.com.

I think the range hood is

I think the range hood is made by Windster. Just look at the unit when it's turned on. It is the same as the older Windster model H-L series.

Electrolux Appliances

The appliances featured are Electrolux appliances.  From these pictures its the gas or dual fuel range , wine storage and Dishwasher. But definitely Electrolux appliances.
