Post-DOE Standards, Qualified Refrigerators in Low Supply

Exclusive:  Refrigerator inventories have been extremely tight since the July 1 increase in energy standards.  Distributors are making brand substitutions on backordered products.  Frigidaire has failed to fill orders placed over 8 weeks ago (July 1).  Other suppliers are having difficulty in replacing Frigidaire's volume.
