Nortek Rumors

We have been aware of rumors that Nortek was shopping the entire Broan - Nutone Group since KBIS in Atlanta. Since then there have been rumors of Zephyr being sold, rumors of Best being sold, rumors of every possible match-up.
Sources tell us that Broan-Nutone has released official communication to its employees around the world that no one is selling anything, yet the rumors continue.
Rumors that make sense are the rumors that find traction, and unloading subsidiaries in the face of Chapter 11 could conceivably make sense.
It wouldn't be the first time that the rumors were well ahead of the reality.
