"Made in EU" Marked Appliances Actually Made in China: Exclusive

This reporter spotted appliances for a major European brand, labeled with "Made in EU", but built in a Chinese appliance factory, ready for shipment to Europe. How is this possible? Are European customs control, out of control? Can we really assume that this isn't also happening in the United States? If you're looking for the bad guys in this story, they don't live in China.
So who is this brand? Wish we could tell you, but we were required not to by our factory source.
