Kuppersbusch Fogs A Mirror

It Lives!  Kuppersbusch, a brand which hadn't decided if it wanted to fish or cut bate, is "all in", if we can mix our metaphors.  Kuppersbusch has hired old Thermador hands, Harry Gianetti as VP of Sales, and Jim Peterson as independent factory rep for the west coast.  Kuppersbusch's VP of Sales and Service Al Fritz will stay on as consultant, and Jim Attkisson continues as president.  They promise a new focus and aggressiveness to the North American effort.

But wait.....there's more.
They've added a distributor to cover the mid-Atlantic states, Ellsworth Distribution.
Kuppersbusch is showing at KBIS with a great piece of convention real estate we were told, and is going (though not showing) to the Builder's Show to meet with distributors and dealers.

Kuppersbusch sells in the rarified German-appliance zone with Gaggenau and Miele.  BSH has allowed Gaggenau to develop slowly.  Miele has just about exited the segment and gone mainstream.  Kuppersbusch has languished until now.

Kuppersbusch deja vu?

As they say in the land of Mercedes, Hals und Beinbruch-----good luck!  In today's economy, the world needs another "premium" brand like a......well, you get the idea.
