KBIS: Liebherr is out

Liebherr, the German manufacturer of mining, earthmoving, lifting, and container cranes and equipment as well as luxury Euro-fridges, has decided not to participate in the 2009 Kitchen and Bath Show in Atlanta joining a very long line of brands which have pulled out as well. As you know ApplianceAdvisor.com has an opinion of a sort related to these pull outs, and has expressed it following the departures of Vent-a-Hood, Viking and Miele. Unlike these 3 earlier pull outs, Liebherr had the benefit of our considered opinion.
Oh yah, says us! Well, we are still going! We will be there, suffering for our industry, reaching out to the knob guys who have yet to rise above the grunt in business communications. We will be their learning of the wonders of the newest plumbing valves. I am exercising my abdoman muscles even now to minimize any spontaneous urge to regurge' which surely will come over me when discussing such things.

ApplianceAdvisor.com has published in advance of each KBIS the ApplianceAdvisor.com Dance Card with the names and locations of every major appliance exhibitor, and will do again this year. It will publish the week before KBIS. Bob, if you have a list, send it in, but in any case, developing a list is what we will do.

Even if you somehow don't get Advisor's list of who's going to the show, the KBIS website has the info. Although the Advisor list is easier to read.

It occurs to me that sooner or later, it might actually become necessary ... as a service to the Industry ... that a list be released of just who is planning on being there ... and what products they are planning to show !!! There have been so many withdrawals that it has become difficult to keep up !!!
