Internet Pricing Policy Part Deux

Effective Jan 3, 2006, Broan-Nutone has instituted an "Internet Minimum Advertised Price Policy", to protect the brick and mortars from retail web demons.  The letter to dealers is interesting in that it dedicates 2 paragraphs to the Broan practice never to discuss any pricing policy with the dealer (other than by memos one presumes).  As strange as that may sound, it may be driven by a need to stay clear of Federal rules on collusion and price fixing, which allows the manufacture to set.....aw heck......fix pricing as long as the dealers were not involved in the decision.
