Goodman to sell Amana Appliance Division to Maytag for $325 million. Expected to close in 3rd quarter after FTC approval. Maytag wants to strengthen their high-end business and refrigeration as well as find other efficiencies. (This means that Iowa is about to get more part-time farmers). See Maytag Press Release.
