Fisher & Paykel Raises Ante

F&P announced that it will build a $15 million factory in the US in order to shift production of the Dish Drawer from New Zealand. The factory will start production in early 2009 with a new model "designed specifically for the North American market". Read that as inches not metric, and as a response to the Kenmore brand Maytag designed US standard size dish drawer now in production. We assume that the new factory will be in Clyde, Ohio next to its motor and washing machine factory.
