Either "Goldman Sacked? Not Likely" or "East Meets Westye"

Effective January 1, 2007, Goldman Distribution of New York, Long Island, and New Jersey, will be acquired by Westye Group East, with Michael Goldman remaining at the helm.  Westye is the distribution arm of Wolf / Sub-Zero.  Goldman is the first or second most successful and most respected distributors in North America providing dealer financing, several high investment consumer showrooms, and specialized Manhattan services such as dis-assembly and re-assembly of major appliances to get into elevators and through doors.  With the deal, Sub-Zero eliminates doubt in its most successful territory, and buys Mr. Goldman's services to help throughout the Westye organization.
With this, the most active rumor in the appliance industry moves into the category of fact.
