Jack Doolittle, principal of Doolittle Distributing of Kansas (Bosch, Thermador, U-Line and Zephyr) has reached agreement for the purchase of Showcase Appliance Distributors of Kansas (Viking, AGA, Marvel, Universal).
Has Jack Doolittle successfully engineered his post-Bosch contingency (Plan B)? Will the two distribution companies merge? Was Doolittle Distribution already chucked under the bus by BSH, or will Doolittle be the one to kick BSH to the corn field, completely unprepared to self-distribute in America's 2-dimensional flatland? Mr. Jack Doolittle could not be reached for comment.
UPDATE: September 20: BSH canceled Doolittle Distribution with a December 3 effectivity.
