Coway Moves High End...........As It Were

How often do new products fulfill their promise?  How often do products even go so far as to promise anything.  Marketers spend their days working the margins, of "new and improved", "new knobs", or "now in a 10 oz size".  Why these marketers have not been crushed under the pointlessness of their lives we can not guess.
Occassionally something new comes this way that promises to solve a problem most of us did not know we had.  Coway has this product and bravely showed it in KBIS.  That product is an after market bidet accessory which fits onto any toilet to make every private corner, and personal space clean and fresh smelling.

Coway says:
The concept of installing a bidet in the bathroom is becoming popular in the U.S. as many people have experienced the first-hand health benefits of using a bidet. For people with gastro-intestinal and rectal diseases, the use of a bidet is found to prevent symptoms as well as fasten the healing process. Additionally, the bidet is found to be useful for expectant moms, potty training children, and seniors by providing complete hygiene and sanitation. Coway’s bidet is safe for everyone in the house as it is equipped with self-sterilizing twin spray wands, that instantly remove 99.9% of bacteria after use, and it only uses purified/filtered water. Hands-free operation via remote control also promotes cleanliness. Supplying consistent warm water at set temperature to prevent burns, triple short circuit cut-off and a gentle lid opening and closing system, Coway’s bidet is a great addition to any home.

Why have we burned so many abhorrent images into your cerebral cortex, with so few words?  Is there any better reason than this short new product summary to explain why we are in the major appliance industry?

I hate to be the ...

... bearer of bad news, but I saw the same product, not made by those folks two (2) years ago @ K-Biz ... it was actually by a major manufacturer !!!     The best part of the demo was that some screwball woman came up and lifted the clear plastic lid they had in place so it could be demo'd "live" ... she caught it right in the mush !!!

It was the same year, this manufacturer came out with a toilet seat made of the same stuff as Crocs and it was quite readily removable so, as the demonstrator proudly announced ... "You can safely put it in your Dishwasher when it needs to be cleaned !!!"   To wit I blurted out ... " ... but why ???"

Ya just can't make these things up !!!
