CORRECTION: Sirius Range Hoods Italy Completes Consolidation Plans

It seems that Sirius Range Hoods of Italy has completed its planned consolidation announced in June 2008.  See Sextuple Bypass. 
Sirius Range Hoods USA Ltd., the North American distribution company which managed Sirius hood marketing and distribution, has closed and its services have been taken over by Sirius HQ in Italy.  Hoods have been shipping direct to distributors from Italy since summer, and marketing will be managed in Italy.  Distributors have expressed a preference for the streamlined and more economical strategy.

Allen Lombard at Sirius Range Hoods USA Ltd, reported:

Regrettably Sirius Range Hoods USA Ltd has been forced to close its doors.
Sirius Italy, the manufacturer will continue to support the market through the following USA distributors:

Alvent – Florida (561 998 3805)
Luwa – Washington (206 574 0770)

A service network is being set up by Sirius Italy.
 
Marv Albert at Alvent reports:
After announcing on June 25, 2008 that it will close down the Sirius range hood warehouse
as of July 1, 2008, Sirius will also discontinue the North American marketing management
office. Sirius Italy will take over this function immediately.
 
The USA Sirius Distributors will enhance their area of distribution along with a new factory
national service support team to be announced within the next 10 days.

Hopefully this will end the confusion.

Please get with the program. Since early 2007 there have been other victims of the recession you Republicans have refused to acknowledge . I hope this does not get worse.

I spoke out of turn.  Other companies, like Ariston have left the market prior to the crash, and certainly dealers and distributors have left the field because of the crash.  I was really speaking of manufacturer backed entities.


Are there any Republicans left?  Gerald Ford (he really is quite busy on this website) had to be the last one of which I am aware.

My friend you are classy. Republicans ? I hope they become an endangered species. Some manufacturers were hit right at the front of this thing. Good luck to all. As always you run a very classy and informative site.You need to bring more humor. The good kind I know that you have. I imagine the next administration will do well ,especially compared to what we currently have. Sorry to all you self indulging Republicans.
