Clarke Distribution Files Suit Against Thermador

Clarke Distribution of New England has filed an injunction against Bosch-Siemens Home Appliance over the canceling of Clarke's distributorship of Thermador and Gaggenau. Clarke is deep into Sub-Zero's pants so why is a distributor with no long term BSH prospects suing BSH? We have theories:
- Sub-Zero has not yet ramped up production of all the pretty appliances that Wolf just launched. Clarke needs to sell something.
- Rumor has it that ex-BSH President Reinhart Metzger gave a verbal promise to cover Clarke's expenses for quality related product change-outs but the new management of BSH is failing to follow through.
- A more machiavellian but less likely reason could be to give Clarke 3 or 4 months to strangle Thermador sales during the Wolf launch. We doubt this one. Clarke folks are good folks.
LATE UPDATE OF DECEMBER 14: BSH has reached an out of court settlement with Clarke, in which money changed hands. We wish we knew the details of all of this.
