Leaving Las Vegas: The Chris Kaeser Story
Submitted by advisor on Wed, 08/04/2010 - 10:36pm.
Chris Kaeser returns to the BSH fold after a multi-year Las Vegas gamble to introduce the Ariston Brand to the United States. Unfortunately the players played the house, and the gamble collapsed with the collapse of Oakton Distribution. The Ariston brand was envisioned as an option to fill the distribution vacuum left by the Bosch distributor cancelations.
It was a lovely idea which still might have flown with a little confidence from Merloni Electtrodomestici.
Chris was Director of Product Marketing at BSH for Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau when he left. Chris returns to BSH as Director of Gaggenau.

The Chris Kaeser Story
Chris, welcome back to where you belong, here with us. I look forward to working with you again in any capacity. Good luck at BSH and don't hesitate to contact me if you need anything. Don't forget, you still owe me an Ariston Coffeemaker! Any other brand would suffice... ;)

I remember providing Gaggenau National Technical Support during the 1990's when Gaggenau was located on University Avenue in Norwood, MA. Gaggenau is a very demanding product with an even more demanding customer, so I was glad to see Chris Kaeser is back at B/S/H/, providing the very personalized support demanded by Gaggenau dealers and customers.

I wish Chris nothing but the best and if anyone can turn that ship around its Chris.
Mr. Kaeser
Chris is a good guy and hopefully will do well back at BSH. Didn't he work retail in Las Vegas after the demise of Ariston? I can only imagine how retail must be in that foreclosure capital! Although, going to Gaggenau might be jumping out of the frying pan into the fire......
