Buzz Killer: Exclusive

The wires, they are a' burning with the rumor (buzz) that Dacor has been sold.  The buyer is either a private equity group, the German refrigeration company Leibherr, or a Leibherr controlled private equity group.  
We reached Elaine Cheney, Dacor's Senior VP of Sales and Marketing and she said: Dacor has not been sold, is not in discussions to be sold, is not for sale.  She added, "Dacor is still focused on developing the finest products in the appliance industry".
Sources tell us that Dacor's next line of refrigeration is being sourced from Leibherr......which could have been the driver for all this.
