Frigidaire gains fame in the industry for killing everyone's margins by running their factories like Swiss watches.  Kelvinator killed off, while Gibson, Tappan, Westinghouse are probably dead....who cares really.  While Frigidaire is and will be the volume brand for the foreseeable future "Electrolux" brand is now the flagship brand  with "Electrolux Icon"

GE is the meat and potatoes line.  GE models show up in each of the other GE brand's catalogs; Profile, Profile Performance, GE, and Hotpoint.  Only Monogram is saved from the onslaught.  RCA terminated.  

Kenmore is the Sears store brand.  It's the largest brand in North America with all of its appliances made by GE, Whirlpool, Maytag, Frigidaire, Broan etc.  Kenmore has 38% of laundry appliance market share.

#1 appliance manufacturer in the US, #3 in Europe.  Started building cooking appliances for first time in their new factory in 1997.  Fairly clean brand differentiation between its 4 brands, Kitchenaid, Whirlpool, Roper, Estate.  Added Gladiator brand in 2004.
Brand differentiation explodes in 2006 with purchase of Maytag (Jennair, Maytag, Jade, blah blah blah.  See Maytag below.

Missing in action Maytag brand.  We've seen Admiral appliances, but Maytag seems to have disowned the brand.  No brochures, no web info.  Only 1 engineer designing "Admiral" tags?

Imported from Germany and distributed in North America by Euro-line Dist of Canada, not Electrolux itself.  Therefore parts and service are from Distributor.  

Very high end appliances for people with way too much money to be practical. Uses a continuous 'on' cooking system, which we hear can overheat the kitchen.  Made in UK.

Cheap hoods.  Made in Canada.  Euro hoods sourced from CATA of Spain.  Distributed through electrical distributors.

Once proud appliance division of Raytheon, sold to Goodman in 1997.  Amana products may now include models originally from Caloric, Modern Maid, and Litton brands acquired and terminated by Amana or Goodman.  Cooking products unexciting.  Built-in refrigerator business sold to Viking 3/00.  Goodman sells rest of appliance division to Maytag 6/01 

This is a duct / blower firm which sells custom hoods and modules.  Advisor guesses that Aldes is a middleman.

In 2003 Electrolux buys back their own brand name in North America from Electrolux Vacuum Cleaners.  Following the Monogram strategy, almost everything is sourced from others.  Seems to use the "Icon" sub-brand, but hell if we can tell.

High end ventilation sold by Thermador.  Made in Italy.

High end antique and 1950's style, technically updated appliances.  Fridges by GE, oven components by Whirlpool.   Made in Canada.  The only appliance company that seems to be having fun.
