Blockbuster Rumor UNTRUE

A blockbuster rumor spreading throughout the industry October 15, 16 is UN-TRUE, says an executive.
An executive working at the company which is the subject of the rumor said that the rumor is "Totally Untrue", "The company will not give (the rumor) any more attention by further response."
ApplianceAdvisor.com has chosen NOT to publish the name of the company, the name of the executive or the details of the rumor to avoid extending the life of the rumor and damaging the brand.
Hopefully there is only one rumor that fits this description.

I still think it is Blockbuster merging with Hollywood Video. Anything else is a guess and probably inaccurate.We should leave the good stuff for Mr. Advisor. He is after all our hero.

You have now hurt that executive's feelings and affected his/her self esteem needing a trip to the St. Regis Hotel at Monarch Beach with AIG. Darn, now 2 more jobs will have to be eliminated and exported to Mexico. Prices will go even higher since the demand is up vs. capacity. Oh !! Shut down four plants to get capacity below demand to raise prices ? What a concept. What were we talkng about anyway ? Must have been a Blockbuster.

Blockbuster will merge with Hollywood Video and they will have a monopoly.See what happens . Rumors start and the cost of renting movies goes up. All the Blockbuster people get laid off or transferred to Mexico.Before you know it China will be in charge.I have heard that China is merging with Vietnam, then watch the price of movies go up.Please keep that quiet or before we know it something else will work it's way into the rumor mill. Thank heavens it can't be a blockbuster anymore.Or could it ? Stay tuned to as the appliance world turns.What if Planet Hollywood merged with Blockbuster? One expensive hamburger I bet.
