When it comes to sustainability and energy efficiency, we at ApplianceAdvisor.com have a long history of beating up on Wolf, Sub-Zero, Viking, Thermador, Northland, Dacor, Energy Star, and the myriad of other major appliance brands.
Problems solved with energy wasting brute force, not energy sipping elegance. Everyone thinking in the box.

The publisher of ApplianceAdvisor.com has put his money where his mouth is and has joined together with a team of corporate and product sponsors to "Super-Insulate" his 80 year old home as part of a state research project. The result will be state-of-the-art insulation performance in a home that was built without any insulation at all. The result may be used to adjust building codes and incentives, and may provide a path for home owners who see the hand writing on the wall and are looking to do much more than the minimum.
It's time that the major appliance industry step up, and do more than the minimum as well.

How do you get the smog created in the home out ? Such as unruly aromas , steam from cooking , body heat , etc , etc , etc.
Fantech Heat Recovery Ventilators
Ventilation Appliane Stallion, something I know little about. Fantech, one of our friends in the appliance industry and at the Kitchen and Bath Show, is supplying (2) heat recovery ventilators to exhaust the stale air, recover much of the heat from that air, and pass the heat to the incoming make-up air. Every tight house needs one.
