AGA Closes Cherry Hill, NJ HQ, Lays Off All Location Employees

Effective July 30, AGA is closing their Cherry Hill, NJ HQ and relieving the Cherry Hill staff of the hardship and responsibility of continued employment. AGA's Canadian subsidiary, Heartland Appliances, under president Brad Michael, will take over all responsibilities of marketing, warehousing, servicing, and shipping AGA products, all from Heartland's current Cambridge, Ontario location. Heartland and AGA will combine under a single corporate entity to be known as AGA-Heartland.
Except for the unfortunate bump in New Jersey's unemployment, the decision to merge the back offices is likely a good thing for the business.
