I’m really surprise to learn that they still manufacture gas wall ovens. When I was looking to replace my mom’s old Ward gas wall oven 10 years ago, with another gas wall oven. I was told by several dealers, that they stop making them. Are there any other manufacturers besides Blue Star who sell gas wall ovens???
Verona distributes gas ovens. I’m sure there are others.
Frigidaire still has a few. Viking has one (for now). Other than that, pretty much a dead category.
I did a search yesterday on-line, and found that there are still manufacturers of gas wall ovens. Only problem is they dont make a 27 inch. There’s 25′ & 30″. But the only 27′ are all electric. WHAT THE HELL??? I guess I could go with the 25″ and just build-up the cutout. But with my bad back, I dont know if Im up to that task.Anybody know of any easier options, such as a pre-manufactured trim kit, designed just for this purpose??? Thanks for your replys Advisor & Jeeves.
If you are looking for a trim kit to make a 24″ oven fit a larger opening size you might try Micro Trim at http://www.microtrim.com
